A coaching LMS budget should include the platform, applications, protection, content delivery, live classes and payment processing. Upclass offers monthly-plus-usage plans, a per-student option and a revenue-share option; the pricing page has the current figures. The entry monthly plan is web-only; apps and VidSafe depend on the selected plan. Use the live pricing table for current figures, then request an estimate based on your active students, viewing hours and required devices.

Understand the three models

A monthly subscription gives a platform fee, with usage and optional features specified separately. Per-student pricing makes the bill depend on the provider’s definition of a chargeable learner. Revenue share makes a portion depend on course sales. None is universally cheapest: the result changes with activity, course price, cohort duration and included features. Get the definitions before doing arithmetic.

Three models, three cost drivers

Add the usage that follows teaching

Record your monthly watching hours, average delivered bitrate, retained video library and new content uploads. Live teaching and communications may create additional costs. Ask how usage is metered and whether credits, included allowances or overages apply. Usage such as bandwidth and storage is billed separately; the pricing page shows what each plan covers.

For a fair comparison, give every provider the same quiet month and peak month. Count payment gateway charges separately from any platform revenue share.

Use a worked example carefully

For an illustrative comparison, a fictional monthly platform fee of ₹10,000 equals a fictional 5% revenue share at ₹2,00,000 in monthly sales, before usage, taxes or other differences. Above or below that sales level the platform component changes. These are arithmetic inputs, not vendor prices. A real decision must also compare included apps, protection, support and any minimum commitments.

Ask for a usable written quote

Specify the supported devices, protection features, course library, active learners and peak events. Ask the provider to show recurring fees, usage assumptions, setup, publishing and payment processing separately. Include what happens when usage grows. Keep the quote and the live plan table together so a starting price does not become an accidental promise about the entire teaching stack.

A quote that matches your teaching

Upclass’s live pricing page shows the available models and plan progression. Bring usage assumptions to the demo so the team can compare options and explain app coverage, VidSafe and separate costs for your institute.

Frequently asked questions

What is Upclass’s starting LMS price?

The current starting price is on the pricing page. It is a starting platform fee for web delivery, not a complete quote for apps, VidSafe or teaching usage. See the current pricing table for plan inclusions.

What is the per-student price?

The pricing page lists the current per-student monthly rate. Confirm which students are billable and the plan scope for your institute. The current pricing page remains the source for commercial terms.

Are video costs included in the monthly subscription?

The monthly model distinguishes the platform fee from usage. Usage such as bandwidth and storage is billed separately; the pricing page shows what each plan covers. Ask for an estimate using your expected library, new uploads, live teaching and watching hours.
